I had started this project in late 2013 but in December my cat sick and January 1st I lost him so I had to put this project away, then a little over a year I started it back up.
For the wig I bought three wigs and cut two of them apart and added it to the main wig. My husband made the shoes with worbla, the tights I was going to paint them but half way through being done it got a huge run in them so we just used sticky dots (which shifted and can't be used again), for the black part of the skirt i was going to use tulle but the sparkles came off and left soo much glitter so I just used glittery fabric. I bought the blue and white strip fabric on etsy, so glad a yard was enough!

The top skirt was hand painted! which took FOREVER, not to mention the 4hours we wasted trying to make a stencil. I made the top too, which can double as a bathing suit. I'm not very happy with the necklace but just couldn't figure out what to do with it. For the teacup on the head i took a plastic teacup, my husband made the plate with worbla and I added resin and a real teabag for tea (but sadly it made it too heavy and if i look down just a little, it would came off). the Teapot purse was one of those plastic toys with a tea set inside, altered and painted to look like Maddies. 
Sadly wearing this at ECCC friday morning was not going well. My husband wasn't well and things were just so difficult in this outfit. I did a quick shoot (which didn't go well) and went to see a friend, then got out of it it. I did hear a few omg it's maddie! I could have stayed in it but sadly I need a handler to help out. I will have to remake the teacup and figure something out better with the shoes since I couldn't walk in them and we were worried they would break....I will have to bring in the skirt cuz I've lost weight! 
I'm happy with it besides some minor things, I'm proud to say I made it!
